About WallCraft

WallCraft is a free, minimalist strategy game you can play right in your browser — no downloads, no sign-up.

The idea

Every player has one pawn and a handful of walls. On each turn you either step toward the far side of the board or drop a wall to slow someone else down. The catch: you may never trap anyone completely, so every wall is a puzzle about lengthening your opponent’s path more than your own. It takes a minute to learn and many games to master.

WallCraft is inspired by classic wall-placement race board games, rebuilt for quick games with friends.

Ways to play

• 1 vs 1 — the classic duel, 10 walls each.
• 2 vs 2 — partners sit opposite each other; the first team to get a pawn home wins.
• 4 players — free-for-all from all four sides of the board.
• Pass & Play — share one phone, tablet or computer.

How online play works

Create a lobby, share the 4-letter code or invite link, and your friends join from any device. Games run peer-to-peer — directly between your browsers — so there are no accounts and nothing to install. Anyone without a seat can watch as an observer.
